The 2nd Annual San Fermin de Tempe (Running of the Bulls Tempe) is downtown’s newest fall festival! In homage to Spain’s summer festival with the New Orleans twist, join hundreds of runners as they take over the streets of #DowntownTempe and our very own Rollerbulls from all over the state are unleashed!
Rollerbull- Definition: Roller Derby girls dressed in horns equipped with plastic bats. Rollerbulls are there to keep you moving – don’t get caught!)
Worried about the running? Don’t worry… this isn’t a 5k, its a 1.2k. There is no prize for first place. There are however some awards:
- A Glutton for Punishment: goes to the runner that was gored by the most bulls
- Scaredy Cat: goes to the fastest runner. (You dont want this award)
- Horniest Bull: goes to the Rollerbull with the best horns
- Angriest Bull: goes to the meanest Rollerbull
